Description

The short films nominated for Academy Awards every year are generally critically praised but very seldom seen by the public. This release helps remedy that, giving the eclectic and inventive shorts recognized by Oscar in 2005 the showcase they deserve. Among the gems included here are all five live-action and three animated nominees, including the eventual winners in each category, SIX SHOOTER and THE MOON AND THE SUN: AN IMAGINED CONVERSATION. Also included here are two bonus shorts, THE FAN AND THE FLOWER and IMAGO.
